With spirits high after Courtney Duncan claimed her third consecutive WMX World Championship, Wilson Todd's final outing was full of highs and lows. A 12th position in qualifying made the starts even more important, and despite some good jumps off the gate, Todd was unable to crossover into the best of positions. Nevertheless, some solid riding in race one would be enough for a 10th position. Things were looking good again in the second race, but unfortunately, a slipping clutch cost much-needed drive, and Todd was forced to retire from 7th position in his final race of the year.

"We were hoping for a good last couple of rounds, even a podium with the way things have been going. We didn't manage to get a good qualifying position so the starts were difficult from 12th. He rode well in race one, finishing in 10th position. In race two there was an issue with the clutch slipping which resulted in a lack of drive, so he was unfortunately forced to retire. Overall the season has been intense but enjoyable, a huge thanks to all our loyal sponsors for helping us finish all 18 rounds. We came away with our 3rd World Title, a 12th position with Wilson, and some promising speed from Hammal earlier in the season before his injury. Unfortunately, Wilson has aged out of MX2, so will be heading back to Australia. We will be announcing our full lineup on December 1st. It will be my 33rd season next year, and I'm glad to be able to say I'm still enjoying it. All the riders and staff have worked hard in this condensed season, I'd like to thank everyone for all their efforts. We have a small turnaround over the winter before the season starts early next year. "
